St. Simon Stock offers a challenging educational program with a curriculum designed to maximize our classes. Catholic values and teachings are integrated into all areas of the curriculum. Subjects of regular classroom study include reading/literature, language arts, writing workshops, science, social studies (including history and geography), religion, math, handwriting and technology. |

Reading and Math
Students are placed with their ability group for classroom reading. Beginning in the 2nd Grade, students are placed with their ability group for math. Technology is integrated into all areas of the curriculum. Students also receive instruction from qualified specialists in computers, library, art, music and gym for 45 minutes sessions each week. Confraternity of Christian Doctrine Students make their First Reconciliation and First Communion in our parish. Our students are participating in the establishment and care of the plants associated with the school's green roof. The school faculty is developing a curriculum that utilizes the plants and soil, as well as the animal life they attract and support, as a tool for interdisciplinary education. Students will take an ongoing role in planting and harvesting a variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as in data collection and analysis and writing papers and reports on their green classroom.
